I don't have this but I have chronic pain from spinal issues and both migraine and cluster headaches. Pain sucks and if it weren't for my prescription pain meds I'd be dead.

I feel very strange giving this video a thumbs up. Naturally a thumbs up is because the video is educational but I want to give thumbs down in a way because I feel bad for this guy. I believe Stiff Person Syndrome (SPS) has been classified as an autoimmune disease (AD). Now an AD can cause neurological problems and I know this all too well as I have several diagnosed ADs through blood, symptom and DNA tests. The outer protective covering of nerve cells can be slowly but surely destroyed with these types of diseases, and that’s just a start. I don’t know if SPS can be diagnosed partially through genetic testing yet but I’m guessing it’s a genetic disease with an environmental trigger, which is the current theory for the cause of many diseases. I suppose the silver lining might be: if that theory is correct then CRISPR, or something similar, might keep people in the future from getting the disease. Unfortunately it might be too late for people such as this gentleman and Celine Dion as too much damage might already have been done. This is a lot of conjecture though I will admit.
